Note: This review is by a guy and is not the review of Princezna.  Thank you for the guest review! :)

Rose and Lissa have been on the run from their school St.Vladimir for two years. Lissa is a Moroi princess that happens to be the last of her line. They are dragged back to the academy by Guardian Belikov. Guardians are dhampirs that protect the Moroi (mainly the royals). The Moroi's all wield a special element power.

Cover- 3/5 Gives the idea of a protected area with the fence, which doesn't give the idea of what the book is about.

Characters- 4/5 Rose is a really funny character who applies both wit and seriousness to situations as required which proves to be an exciting adventure. As do the supporting characters both help lift and make the story.

Rate- 4.5/5 The story had me interested and excited the entire time, helping me further bring back my love of reading.  The exciting world of the dhampirs and morois proved to be an exciting one.  I have never really explored the realm of the modern day supernatural, being more content with the traditional medieval wizards and dragons, but this book had me hooked from the get go.  Only reason why the book isn't a 5/5 is because though the story had me excited and non-stop reading, some of the books more "Sexual" side with the main character and her male partners, pushed me into a bit of an awkward situation.  Other then that, the book was amazing, and well worth the read!  I am looking forward to jumping into the second book and learning more about the world of the Vampire Academy!
